Nutrition for Surgery
At Tune Health, we guide your nutrition during the surgery journey, so you can make a strong recovery and get back to the things that you love
Are you Prepared for a Successful surgery?
Surgery is a major event for your body – like running a marathon. Tune works by training your body with the right nutrition to improve recovery time and lower your chance of complications. We focus on :
-
Nutrition should center around nourishment, not restriction, especially before and after surgery. Meeting your protein, calorie, and micronutrient needs protects your muscles, maintains physical function, and supports optimal tissue repair.
-
Surgery puts a significant stress on your body. We evaluate the full picture including inflammation status, appetite shifts, and functional changes to guide personalized nutrition care.
-
When your metabolism is under-fueled or chronically restricted, you are likely to experience delayed healing. Our approach focuses on metabolic restoration, especially for those with a history of dieting or chronic illness.
-
We developed a simple and focused approach to what matters most for better surgery outcomes: protein!
-
Loss of appetite is a clinical red flag. Low appetite is a sign of inflammation or under-recovery, not a reason to under-eat. We help you with strategies to continue nourishing your body even when you may not feel hungry.
